Low live at KOKO

Posted on July 26, 2006September 3, 2017 Dan Griffiths2 CommentsPosted in Music Photography, Uncategorized

I have just got back from taking pictures of 90’s rock outfit Low. They were playing the whole of their ‘Things We Lost in the Fire’ record at KOKO in Camden as part of the ‘Don’t Look Back’ series of gigs.

Longcut live at Dingwalls

Posted on July 25, 2006September 3, 2017 Dan GriffithsLeave a commentPosted in Music Photography, Uncategorized

Earlier today I shot Longcut in an oven called Dingwall’s in Camden. These guys seem to really attract a cult following and their unique blend of dance meets rock will surely make them massive soon.

Glen Campbell live at Hammersmith Apollo

Last night I went to see Glen Campbell at the Hammersmith Apollo which is where these shots were taken. Shortly after the first song I was abandoned by all of the photographers that were on my side of the stage. I though that they knew something that I didn’t however much to my surprise for […]

She Wants Revenge live at Scala

This shot of rising US rockers She Want Revenge was taken on Thursday at Scala. These guys are basically Joy Division for the year 2000!

Latitude Festival – Sunday

Posted on July 20, 2006September 3, 2017 Dan GriffithsLeave a commentPosted in Music Photography, Uncategorized

These shots of Mogwai and Mystery Jets were taken on the final day of Latitude festival last weekend. Musically this was probably my favourite day of the festival. Both Paolo Nutini and The Mystery Jets (below) were pretty amazing.

Latitude Festival – Saturday

Both of these shots of Peeping Tom and Gomez were taken this Saturday at Latitude Festival. Mike Patterns new band were quiet different to his previous band Faith No More although still highly credible.

Latitude Festival – Friday

These shots Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody and The Zutons were taken last Friday at the first night of Latitude festival. The Zutons were great and really upped the atmosphere of the tent.

Billy Talent and Reuben live at the London Astoria

Posted on July 17, 2006September 3, 2017 Dan GriffithsLeave a commentPosted in Music Photography, Uncategorized

These shots of Billy Talent and Reuben were taken at the London Astoria last Wednesday. It’s odd when one of your school mate’s bands support one of your favourite acts but the Reuben lads deserve it!

Robert Plant live at Somerset House

Posted on July 11, 2006September 3, 2017 Dan GriffithsLeave a commentPosted in Music Photography, Uncategorized

This shot of Robert Plant and The Strange Sensation was taken at Somerset House on Monday evening. The Led Zeppelin front man was good fun to take shots of even if all of the photographer were made to stand a good eight meters away from him!

Lostprophet live at Brixtin Academy

Posted on July 8, 2006September 3, 2017 Dan Griffiths1 CommentPosted in Music Photography, Uncategorized

I took these shots of the Lostprophets earlier this evening at Brixton Academy. The last time I photographed the guys was way back in 2001 (?) when they played the Hanover Grand after a storming set at Reading. Their rise to stardom happened soon after.
