This photograph of Tom Jones was taken at a special midnight performance in the woods area of Latitude festival, Suffolk on Thursday night. It was Tom’s first performance at the festival and he played his new album ‘Praise & Blame’. Later in the weekend he would perform the album for a second time at an unannounced set on Sunday at midday.
The album is produced by Ethan Johns (who has previously worked with Kings Of Leon, Rufus Wainwright and Laura Marling) and includes covers of songs by such artists as Bob Dylan, John Lee Hooker and Billy Joe Shaver and features Booker T.
