Reef performing live at the Forum, London

Posted on Posted in Music Photography
This Thursday I headed off to Kentish Town in London to catch Reef performing at the Forum. Wanting to catch the whole show I deliberately brought along my old camera (Canon 350D) as it now seems to be a standard procedure that photographers have to leave your camera with venue security after the first three songs (at any venue over a capacity of around 1000 people). It was a mistake as I didn’t end up having to leave the venue (and re-enter later). Silly really as I had forgotten that Reef’s manager is a fan of photography and always does a top job prepping  venues at any of his bands shows. As a result the images were not quite as sharp as I had hoped. My Canon 50D is definitely better at that! Regardless, I got a few decent shots. You can see an flash slideshow from the gig by clicking the images above.

Reef were on their usual top form and it always amazes me how tight they are live despite spending some time apart.
