Marina and the Diamonds performing live at the Tabernacle, London

Posted on Posted in Music Photography

On Friday night I was lucky enough to end the week just as it had began, in another amazing setting for a show. This time I was at the Tabernacle in Notting Hill taking pictures of Marina and the Diamonds. The Tabernacle is a Grade II-listed building and has quite a musical history. Pink Floyd and The Clash performed in the theatre in the 1960s and 1970s while The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and The Good, the Bad and the Queen have all used the building as a reheral studio.

Marina and the Diamonds’ (aka Marina Diamandis) show was one of a series of ‘New to Q Sessions’ performances at the venue for Q magazine. Performing in support were Goldheart Assembly and Tinashe. I’ll be putting some images of Goldheart Assembly in the gallery shortly.
